The 2019 district championships were held over two nights with 46 players and 6 divisions.
Numbers this year were down from the last few years. I think the contributing factors to this was the timing of the championships as it was the school holidays and people were either away or spending time with their families. The timing of the event is something we are mindful of and hopeful that we can grow on these numbers for next year. None the less I hope everyone that entered enjoyed their nights and had an opportunity to play different players.
This year we introduced a new form of registration by way of online. I hope everyone who used this platform found the process easy. It also lightened the load from an operational sense.
On Tuesday night competitors played for the L1, M4 and M5 titles. Congratulations to all the competitors and to our district champions as follows:

On Wednesday night saw the balance of competitors battle it out for the M3 M2 and M1 championship title and the results are as follows:

Runner-up Davina Hamilton - Ladies champion Davina Hamilton 4th time champion
Runner-up Lesley Simpson - M1 district champion Troy Mountford 4th time champion
